T04 power button problem and frequent crash

@htinkyaw wrote:

Hi,

I've bought MeegoPad T04 from aliexpress. The touch power button is very problematic. Sometimes, it doesn't power up at all even though trying so many times to touch the button. I have to unplug the adaptor and wait for some hours and try again. So, it's very unreliable. Please advise why the power button doesn't work time to time.

I have windows 10 home version and windows also crash a lot of times with so many problems. I like to reinstall WINDOWS if possible. Please let me know how to reinstall windows using DVD or Memory Stick?

MeegoPad T02 won't come on after over heating

I've had two MeegoPad T02s for a couple of months now though I've only used one of them a handful of times. Yesterday, I turned the sparsely used one on but it only lasted for a couple of minutes and went off on its own. I touched it and realised it was hotter than normal so I allowed it to cool down and turned it on again, after a couple of minutes it got very hot and turned off on its own. Since then I've been unable to turn it on. The red light wouldn't come on either so this might be a hardware issue (I think). By the way, it was connected to the mains via the standard adaptor and USB cable that came with it (when this happened). This was quite surprising because I've never had issues with the other MeegoPad T02 - which I use most often.

It is worth mentioning that I got the device on Amazon USA (through a friend) and I'm currently overseas so sending it back might be bit of a challenge. As a result, I'll appreciate a quick fix to this issue if there's any out there.

Something has happened. I opened the t07, I pressed lightly on the motherboard (be careful how you do it) and I closed.
Now it works very well without adding external fans, wifi offers better performance and temperature, thanks to the processor that varies its MHz, is acceptable and never gets to 80 degrees, with a right effort as that of the SKY channels display.

MeeGoPad New Products at 2016 Intel Developer Forum 2016

On April 13, 2016, Intel held their annual Developer Forum at Shenzhen. Intel invited young startups to present their idea and MeeGoPad was invited to present their latest stick PC and projector PC.

MeeGoPad's next generation products, the T06 projector, T08 stick, and T09 box will have Cherry Trail Z8300 SoC and USB 3.1 Type C support. T06 was elected into the top 50 products present at IDF. The T06 has a screen-less pen tracking technology and can product a screen size of up to 110 inch.

After IDF, MeeGoPad CEO, Robin WU, was privately interviewed by various international press including press companies in US.

Robin Wu is a famous start up entrepreneur in China. He concludes that; a startup starts with the desire for an idea or a product to be acknowledge by people and the consumer market. Making a profit is one aspect of a startup company, but it is not the fuel that drive entrepreneurs through countless hardships and difficulties. Thought the idea of a startup starts off good, many companies resorted to being lazy and focused on making quick money instead of making a good product. Making a startup company is far from easy. The CEO has to put together a team that is willing to work hard to make a good product and have a good customer service system.

MeeGoPad is a startup founded a year ago with the world's first stick sized Intel Windows PC. Since then, MeeGoPad has created updates to the original PC and will keep making the products better. MeeGoPad's fundamental belief is to never stop innovating.

MeeGoPad is not known for their customer service, but this year, with the release of three new products, MeeGoPad will revamp their selling system to improve customer service and product functionality to establish a global brand.

Does anyone know how to factory reset my T02 or make it alive again?
Thank you very much!

T07 pro: video signal failing

$

@ICTV wrote:

Hello,

I recently bought a T07 pro. After unboxing I started it. Then (latestly after a few minutes) the video signal fails, the monitor does not recognize a HDMI signal and goes into energy saving mode. It usually comes back and goes off again. This is repeated a few times until the monitor stays off.
To troubleshoot, I tried various cables (including an adapter to VGA) and various monitors - same result.
A VNC connection from another PC is possible and running stable.

When I shut the T07 down and start it again, the monitor does not even activate. I then need to let the device rest with detached cables and power supply (uncertain how long exactly) until it works again with video signal ... until failing again shortly after.

Any ideas?
The only thing I could think of is a temperature / voltage dependent loose contact ...

Thanks in advance for your help.

With the latest version of Ubuntu Canonical have Solved
the 32-bit bios problem. In fact, Ubuntu 16 .04 and its derivatives is
installed without probleni with the 32-bit bios as they replace the 64-bit grub with that 32-bit.
Unfortunately the problem persists, the wifi is not detected due to a lack of drivers, but just acquire a network usb adapter to use different linux systems including Debian to version 8.4.
The only thing you have to do and put the botia32 in the boot folder efi live in key created with rufus.
The grub installed from Ubuntu also sees other installed systems and then
you can install it in dual boot with windows

@David_Webb wrote:

Hi friends

I was experiencing slowed computing @ 0.34 Ghz and Temp was over 80C

and Tanto gave me an idea.

I put big heat sink on T07

Temperature keeps 50~55C on constantly at full loads and 40~45 on normal computing

This computer works great on normal working

but you cannot expect play any contemporary(?) games

It was worth paying 20$ for additional heatsink I think

-Low consumption and silence

hope better cooling system be appied to future products

Thanks!

Energie option "turn of screen" puts T02 into hypernate

@clechner wrote:

Hi all, I've got a problem with my T02. I got it running on Windows 10 (used the Microsoft update from 8.1 to 10).
I would like to turn of the screen after 5 minutes but keep the T02 running. I configured the energie options succesfully and the screen is turned of after 10 minutes. Unfortunately the whole T02 is put into hypernate at the same time. I've configured the system to never shut down.
I'm running the T02 connected to a touchscreen without a keyboard and therefore I'm not able to press a key to return from hypternate. I just would like to turn of the screen after 10 minutes.

Can anybody help me with this issue? This is my configuration.

Thanks Chris
